Comedy Central's The Watch List's Friend Space (Top 22)
AAI is hosting a screening of the Arab American comedy show The Watch List on Thursday, February 15 at the coffee shop Busboys and Poets in Washington , D.C. Watch List co-creator and Arab American comedian Dean Obeidallah will introduce the show at the screening. Prior to the showing of The Watch List, AAI Community Relations Associates Jason Assir and Maram Abdelhamid will present “The Presidentials Are Coming! The Presidentials Are Coming!” on how to get involved and make a difference in a presidential campaign. The events begin at 7 p.m. and are free of charge. Refreshments will be provided.
The Watch List is being heralded in the media for its groundbreaking and edgy comedy featuring the country’s top Middle Eastern American comedians, both Arab American and Iranian American. Episodes are currently available for download on Comedy Central’s internet channel Motherload.
